High Purity Cleaning & Passivation
Delta Tech Service recently completed pre-operational high purity cleaning and passivation services for a prestigious 150 million gallons per day (MGD) water treatment plant in Kansas City, KS.
Since the plant was using ozone gas for primary and secondary disinfection, the lines carrying oxygen or oxygen enriched gas, required precision cleaning. Scope of work included critical oxygen cleaning and passivation services for the liquid oxygen (LOX), gaseous oxygen (GOX), ozone gas, and ozone off-gas systems. Delta Tech was honored to have its name listed in the cleaning specification for this project alongside some other formidable competitors. As a result, we will continue to see these opportunities in the future.
Despite many obstacles, namely inclement weather with temperatures dropping to subzero at times, along with mechanical issues associated with working in these adverse weather conditions, Delta Tech shined through and completed the project, safely, without incident, and ahead of schedule. Our customer, an elite General Contractor in the water industry, was pleased with the performance of our team and the well organized fashion of the execution of our work.
