DSolv-EX is a highly effective solvent cleaner. It has been formulated to dissolve the most difficult heavy hydrocarbon products that other solvents available in the oil refinery fail to remove. Initially it was formulated to dissolve hydrocarbon precipitates that form in process equipment which Light Cycle Oil or other highly aromatic gas oils used for washing process equipment in the refinery could not touch. Further applications have found it very effective for breaking up highly coked binders that cause fouling and accumulation of sludge. It is 100% organic and contains no surfactants. It can be used full strength or added to degreasing or solvent systems to add additional cleaning capabilities.
